DATUK DR ABDUL RAMAN SAAD

Datuk Dr Abdul Raman Saad is a distinguished legal professional with over 40 years of experience in corporate law, real estate, banking & finance, Islamic finance, mergers & acquisitions, and cross-border transactions. He holds an Honours Degree in Law from the University of Singapore, a Master of Laws (Electronic Law) from the University of Melbourne, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Midwest Missouri University. He also completed executive studies at Harvard Business School and participated in the Islamic Legal Studies Program (ISLP) at Harvard Law School. He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in West Malaysia (1977), the Singapore Bar (1995), and as a Solicitor for England & Wales (2002). Before entering private practice, he served in the Malaysian Judicial and Legal Service. Datuk Dr Abdul Raman is the Co-Head of ARSA Islamic Finance Law Practice Group, a registered arbitrator in Islamic Banking & Financial Services, and the author of Personal Data Privacy Protection. He has also contributed extensively to legal publications and international journals. His expertise, leadership, and commitment to legal excellence have made him one of Malaysia’s respected legal practitioners in corporate and Islamic finance law.
